Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will cease operations after administrators failed to attract buyers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the fall of the operator, which has left families rushing to find alternative care arrangements.
Administrators successfully sold some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 drew no offers. Parents have been given minimal notice to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown proceeds.
