Macklin Celebrini returned to the lineup and scored a goal in a close loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The rookie forward, who had been sidelined, took the ice alongside fellow prospect Will Smith, who played in the big league. Despite the loss, the Sharks saw a bright spot as Ivar Stenberg netted his first-ever professional goal in a separate game against the Boston Bruins.
